Meet Lyndsey Quist
Lyndsey Quist is a fundraising, development and non-profit management professional, currently serving her community as a full-time volunteer while raising her two young children. Prior to the birth of her son she worked in fundraising, focused on higher education, development of the arts, and health and human services.
Lyndsey has always been involved in her local community serving on a variety of non-profit and civic engagement boards including several health issue boards, civic engagement groups like Rotary, and young professional boards working to develop business and financial skills for new graduates. Lyndsey has also volunteered in leadership programs focused on improving community image, economic opportunity, and downtown revitalization.
After moving to Parker, Colorado in 2014, Lyndsey stepped away from her non-profit career to focus on her growing family and local community involvement. In 2016 she graduated from the Parker Civic Academy program and realized the importance of taking a greater role in local politics in Parker.
Currently Lyndsey is involved in a variety of fundraising projects for her community, including raising money for her children’s preschool to assist with outdoor education programs, work with health care organizations, and volunteering on educational issues such as the Douglas County School Board election. She has also spent the past two years volunteering with her local Democratic party, running Parker Democrats where she focused on encouraging Parker residents to become involved in local politics and voter registration. She also assists with fundraising efforts, managing the transition from event fundraising to fully virtual events.
